QUOTES

“I’m Jeneffer Rio, with 3 ‘e’s; 2 ‘f’s; and 1 ‘n’! It’s so nice to meet you!”

“Well, you know what they say: jealousy comes in many forms.”

“Maybe you’re right. Maybe I should just shut my trap — but don’t you want to see what these lips can do? Why don’t you just kiss me already?”

“You never truly know what someone is going through.”

BIO

One of three orphaned, identical triplets, Jeneffer and her sisters were raised in a monastery in Albarracín, Spain (also believed to be their birthplace). Jeneffer has no recollection of her birth parents.

The trio was adopted by a successful oil tycoon CEO named Patrick Rio, and his up-and-coming supermodel wife, Isioma. It was Isioma who discovered the girls playing kickball outside their monastery, stopping her photoshoot to adopt them on the spot.

A Rio, Jeneffer spent the rest of her adolescence under a strict mansion in Malibu, California, despite having dozens of butlers and maids tending to her every desire. She attended a public school up until middle school, where she became more rebellious and began sneaking-out at night. The Rios transitioned her to homeschooling, hoping to find the girl who “had no idea what she wanted to do with her life” a future to be proud of. But such tactics only cemented her feelings of isolation.

With her adoptive parents busy with their own careers, Jeneffer’s main guardian and rolemodel became her godfather, Mr. Roxy: a WWII veteran with PTSD, turned artist and reknowned photographer.

At the age of 17, a discouraged Jeneffer was pushed to explore Los Angeles and meet new faces, only to realize her adoptive parents set her up with dates. She went on several with boys from other rich families, and even liked a few, but her life changed forever when she met the time-traveling “future-boy,” Cy Manorhaven.

As a founding member of the League of Time-Travelers, she hopes to build a time-traveling society — “an escape” — for those trapped in their own circumstances. She also hopes to flourish in her new relationship with her time-travel boyfriend, Cy Manorhaven.

MESSAGE BOARD

Q1) Are you the jealous type?

A1) No. At least I don’t like to think that I am. I’d say I’m usually on the other end of envy. My mother gifted me a baby blue “evil eye” bracelet after one of her shoots in Greece, and I think it’s helping to keep all the envy and jealousy far away from me. I really just want more friends.

Q2) How do you and Cy communicate when you're separated by time and/or distance?

A2) He likes to use his watch, Kiddo, to call me whenever we’re separated. I receive his calls using my earrings; they’re kind of like my very own time-travel device. And he’s called me in many different locations and in many different years. Though we usually call at night before going to bed.

It’s a formidable form of communication for now, however I don’t like when he uses the watch for to call me. I know it knows everything but I’d like to imagine our conversations are private. They’re really personal and sometimes can get pretty flirty. I’m trying to work this out with him so he’ll use the watch less. I hope we’ll see eye to eye soon.
